Homeschoolhouse members share cooperative learning with classmates, math and language lessons, seminars, and engagement in personalized works. We invest in projects, discussions, and play to learn about nature, art, science, social studies, and ourselves. Participants receive weekly menus of lessons and activities, access to Montessori and academic learning materials at the schoolhouse, ideas for continued learning at home, and electronic portfolios at the end of the academic year.
Young learners are invited to self-directed and play-based learning in a carefully designed environment. Our weekly menus include art, nature, science, language, and math fundamentals and complement the topics that elementary age learners engage with.
Schoolhouse meetings are designed to foster cooperation, ownership of learning, and autonomy. Elementary age learners share access to community learning, schoolhouse resources, and a changing menu of works each week.
